Little Bentley Hall Garden Show 2004

Show brief

Design and build a 6m x 6m garden for town or country living under the general theme of ‘My back yard’.

Design intent

The garden demonstrates that contemporary doesn’t have to be minimal and that small and over-looked gardens can be transformed into relaxing retreats.

Judges’ comments

The garden was judged to be the winning scheme and was particularly praised for the wonderful use of colour and clever planting. It was said to be equal to anything that had been seen at The Chelsea Flower Show.
